Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Brigitte, Xteriors Iv', 2007 by Désirée Dolron was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in London in May 2018. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,702.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Désirée Dolron - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Xteriors VI, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 194,500.00 (€ 131,232.71).

Die Arbeit 'Brigitte, Xteriors Iv', 2007 von Désirée Dolron wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.702,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Désirée Dolron mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Xteriors VI beobachtet, die im April 2011 für USD 194.500,00 (€ 131.232,71) versteigert wurde.
