Mounted And Framed. by Désiré Charnay was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in May 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Désiré Charnay have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Raharla, Minister to the Queen in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,830.20).

Mounted And Framed. von Désiré Charnay kam im Mai 2013 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Désiré Charnay auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Raharla, Minister to the Queen im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.830,20).
