The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,063.00 (€ 1,342.14), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Derrick Greaves achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Labourers with dog in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,684.35).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.063,00 (€ 1.342,14) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Derrick Greaves erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Labourers with dog im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.684,35).
