Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figure in the Urban Landscape 37 by Derrick Adams was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 152,400.00 (€ 143,044.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Derrick Adams have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2021 the work Figure In The Urban Landscape 31 was auctioned for USD 250,000.00 (€ 212,892.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figure in the Urban Landscape 37 von Derrick Adams kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 152.400,00 (€ 143.044,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Derrick Adams konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2021 die Arbeit Figure In The Urban Landscape 31 für USD 250.000,00 (€ 212.892,79) versteigert.
