Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,368.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The 'Glorious First of June', 1794 in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,900.00 (€ 73,095.75).
