Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Exploded Image by Denis Bowen was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,344.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Denis Bowen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Form Through Action in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,675.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Exploded Image von Denis Bowen kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.344,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Denis Bowen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Form Through Action im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.675,74).
