Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Denis Bowen for GBP 2,800.00 (€ 3,319.72). This price was achieved in the auction Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Denis Bowen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2017 by the work Form Through Action at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,675.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Denis Bowen für GBP 2.800,00 (€ 3.319,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Denis Bowen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2017 die Arbeit Form Through Action mit GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.675,74).
