Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Atomic Image: Yellow And Brown by Denis Bowen for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,273.78). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British & Irish Art at Sothebys in Olympia and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Denis Bowen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2017 by the work Form Through Action at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,675.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Atomic Image: Yellow And Brown von Denis Bowen für GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.273,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Denis Bowen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2017 die Arbeit Form Through Action mit GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.675,74).
