Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Running Script Calligraphy by Deng Shiru was sold in the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 200,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 211,500.00 (€ 30,150.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Deng Shiru have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seal Script Calligraphy in September 2011 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 135,697.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem In Running Script Calligraphy von Deng Shiru wurde im Oktober 2001 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 211.500,00 (€ 30.150,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Deng Shiru auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 135.697,82).
