It achieved a price of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 6,855.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deng Shiru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seal Script Calligraphy in September 2011 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 135,697.82).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Seal Script After The Yishan Bei von Deng Shiru kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 6.855,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deng Shiru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 135.697,82).
