Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Clerical Script by Deng Shiru was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. The price achieved of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 73,114.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Other works by Deng Shiru have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2011 the work Seal Script Calligraphy was auctioned for USD 182,500.00 (€ 135,697.82).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Clerical Script von Deng Shiru wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 73.114,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Deng Shiru konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2011 die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy für USD 182.500,00 (€ 135.697,82) versteigert.
