Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Five-Character Verse in Running Script Calligraphy by Deng Shiru was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 9,261.73). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deng Shiru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seal Script Calligraphy in September 2011 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 135,697.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Five-Character Verse in Running Script Calligraphy von Deng Shiru kam im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 9.261,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deng Shiru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 135.697,82).
