Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Privacy 30, 2018 by Dawit Abebe was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May last year. It achieved a price of EUR 9,840.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dawit Abebe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work No.2 Background 3, 2014, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,192.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Privacy 30, 2018 von Dawit Abebe kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.840,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Dawit Abebe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit No.2 Background 3, 2014 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.192,29) versteigert wurde.
