Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dawid could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "#2705", 1987 changed hands for SEK 13,000.00 (€ 1,258.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dawid have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "K1D9698" from the series Blueprints, 2009 in April 2021 with an auction result of SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,391.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dawid konnte im April letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "#2705", 1987 für SEK 13.000,00 (€ 1.258,42) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dawid auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "K1D9698" from the series Blueprints, 2009 im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.391,94).
