Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work '9632', 1990 by Dawid. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 8,500.00 (€ 719.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Dawid have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "K1D9698" from the series Blueprints, 2009 in April 2021 with an auction result of SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,391.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit '9632', 1990 von Dawid zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 8.500,00 (€ 719,86) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dawid auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "K1D9698" from the series Blueprints, 2009 im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.391,94).
