This artwork by David Wojnarowicz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in October this year. In the Photographs auction, the work Untitled (Buffaloes) sold for USD 28,160.00 (€ 26,646.48) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Wojnarowicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Earth, Wind, Fire And Water in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,515,000.00 (€ 1,337,984.63).

Dieses Kunstwerk von David Wojnarowicz erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Buffaloes) für USD 28.160,00 (€ 26.646,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Wojnarowicz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Earth, Wind, Fire And Water im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.515.000,00 (€ 1.337.984,63).
