In November 2021 Bonhams in Sydney held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Lowood Landscape, Brisbane Valley by David Strachan. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 4,674.00 (€ 4,141.05), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by David Strachan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Australian Tree Cemetery sold at auction in August 2007 with the realized price of AUD 7,800.00 (€ 4,664.22).

Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Sydney die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lowood Landscape, Brisbane Valley von David Strachan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 4.674,00 (€ 4.141,05) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von David Strachan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Australian Tree Cemetery im August 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von AUD 7.800,00 (€ 4.664,22).
