Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April this year Bonhams held the auction The Fred and Elinor Wrobel CollectionA Curated Salon, which included the work Still Life, 1940 by David Strachan. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 5,535.00 (€ 3,317.49). Other works by David Strachan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 7,800.00 (€ 4,664.22) in August 2007 for the work Australian Tree Cemetery.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion The Fred and Elinor Wrobel CollectionA Curated Salon durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life, 1940 von David Strachan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 5.535,00 (€ 3.317,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von David Strachan haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 7.800,00 (€ 4.664,22) im August 2007 für die Arbeit Australian Tree Cemetery beobachtet.
