The work View from Dyrehaven by David Monies was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia auction at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 5,500.00 (€ 738.37), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Monies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish the Picnic in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,469.30).

Die Arbeit View from Dyrehaven von David Monies wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 5.500,00 (€ 738,37) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Monies erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danish the Picnic im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.469,30).
