Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by David Korty was sold in the Under The Influence auction at Phillips in New York in March 2009. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,413.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Korty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Santa Monica) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 34,600.00 (€ 23,556.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von David Korty wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Under The Influence bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.413,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Korty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Santa Monica) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 34.600,00 (€ 23.556,64).
