Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two works: Untitled by David Korty was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2009. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,581.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Korty have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Santa Monica) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 34,600.00 (€ 23,556.64).

Die Arbeit Two works: Untitled von David Korty kam im März 2009 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.581,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Korty auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Santa Monica) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 34.600,00 (€ 23.556,64).
