This artwork by David Bles achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2002. In the 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART auction, the work Le monde où l'on s'amuse sold for EUR 20,315.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Bles have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work De mooie minne en de Grootpapa's: The beautiful nurse and the grandfathers in March 2001 with an auction result of NLG 188,000.00 (€ 87,073.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Bles erzielte im April 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART wurde die Arbeit Le monde où l'on s'amuse für EUR 20.315,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Bles auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit De mooie minne en de Grootpapa's: The beautiful nurse and the grandfathers im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 188.000,00 (€ 87.073,46).
