Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The violin player by David Bles was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2009. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Bles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De mooie minne en de Grootpapa's: The beautiful nurse and the grandfathers in March 2001 with an auction result of NLG 188,000.00 (€ 87,073.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The violin player von David Bles kam im Mai 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Bles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit De mooie minne en de Grootpapa's: The beautiful nurse and the grandfathers im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 188.000,00 (€ 87.073,46).
