The work The Chester Play of the Deluge: Five plates by David Jones was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,244.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crucifixion in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 110,615.78).

Die Arbeit The Chester Play of the Deluge: Five plates von David Jones kam im Januar 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.244,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Jones erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crucifixion im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 110.615,78).
