The work Rolling Breakers by David James was auctioned at Sothebys in London in January 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,995.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David James achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cornish Rollers in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,401.51).

Die Arbeit Rolling Breakers von David James kam im Januar 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.995,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David James erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cornish Rollers im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.401,51).
