In June 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Boy Drinking From A Barrel by David Gilmour Blythe. Admittedly, works by David Gilmour Blythe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Family Prayers and The Sequel: A Pair of Works in January 2024 with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 220,241.22).
