A top price for David Farquharson - as previously expected
In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, which included the work The Morning Breeze, Dordrecht by David Farquharson. The price achieved of GBP 16,730.00 (€ 24,079.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Morning Breeze, Dordrecht is the most expensive artwork by David Farquharson that we have observed at auctions so far.
