Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Writer 1 (Circle) Second Version by David Breuer-Weil was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in April 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 12,989.54). Admittedly, works by David Breuer-Weil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alien in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 63,842.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Writer 1 (Circle) Second Version von David Breuer-Weil wurde im April 2006 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 12.989,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Breuer-Weil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alien im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 63.842,78).
