Auction result well in line with expectations

In December this year Bonhams in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale, which included the work The Invisible Man by David Breuer-Weil. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,680.00 (€ 8,847.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Breuer-Weil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alien in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 63,842.78).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Invisible Man von David Breuer-Weil zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.680,00 (€ 8.847,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Breuer-Weil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alien im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 63.842,78).
