In October 2010 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Hierarchy by David Breuer-Weil. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 46,850.00 (€ 54,018.79), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by David Breuer-Weil; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Alien sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 63,842.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hierarchy von David Breuer-Weil zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 46.850,00 (€ 54.018,79) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von David Breuer-Weil; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Alien im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 63.842,78).
