Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dos Niños by David Alfaro Siqueiros was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in September this year. The price achieved of USD 512.00 (€ 483.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Alfaro Siqueiros achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paisaje Rojo (Abstracción) in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 425,000.00 (€ 385,697.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dos Niños von David Alfaro Siqueiros kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 512,00 (€ 483,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Alfaro Siqueiros erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paisaje Rojo (Abstracción) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 425.000,00 (€ 385.697,43).
