This work without title by Darío Escobar was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in May 2018. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,033.42), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Darío Escobar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work El Becerro De Oro, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,770.69).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Darío Escobar wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.033,42) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Darío Escobar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit El Becerro De Oro beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.770,69) versteigert wurde.
