Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blacksmith Painting No. 19 by Darío Escobar was sold in the Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 auction at Phillips in an online auction in July 2018. The price achieved of USD 4,063.00 (€ 3,470.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Darío Escobar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Becerro De Oro in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,770.69).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.063,00 (€ 3.470,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
