This artwork by Dante Gabriel Rossetti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2018. In the British Art: Victorian, Pre Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction, the work The Three Fates sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,456.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dante Gabriel Rossetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pandora in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 5,346,500.00 (€ 6,571,020.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dante Gabriel Rossetti erzielte im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British Art: Victorian, Pre Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art wurde die Arbeit The Three Fates für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.456,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dante Gabriel Rossetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pandora im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.346.500,00 (€ 6.571.020,97).
