Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Designs For Stained Glass: The Last Judgement: Saved Soul Ascending; And Condemned Soul Descending by Dante Gabriel Rossetti was sold in the An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection auction at Christies in September 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,108.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dante Gabriel Rossetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pandora in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 5,346,500.00 (€ 6,571,020.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Designs For Stained Glass: The Last Judgement: Saved Soul Ascending; And Condemned Soul Descending von Dante Gabriel Rossetti wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection bei Christies versteigert.
