Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study of Alexa Wilding, her head turned three-quarters to the right by Dante Gabriel Rossetti was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 350,000.00 (€ 410,447.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dante Gabriel Rossetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pandora in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 5,346,500.00 (€ 6,571,020.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study of Alexa Wilding, her head turned three-quarters to the right von Dante Gabriel Rossetti kam im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
