It achieved a price of GBP 419,250.00 (€ 460,308.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dante Gabriel Rossetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pandora in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 5,346,500.00 (€ 6,571,020.97).

Die Arbeit Maria Stillman, née Spartali von Dante Gabriel Rossetti kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 419.250,00 (€ 460.308,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dante Gabriel Rossetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pandora im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.346.500,00 (€ 6.571.020,97).
