It achieved a price of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,568.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Admittedly, works by Daniel Saint have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Josephine, Empress Of The French (1763-1814), Circa 1805 in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,711.33).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Traditionally Identified As Madamoiselle Exelmans, Circa 1825 von Daniel Saint kam im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.568,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Saint auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Josephine, Empress Of The French (1763-1814), Circa 1805 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.711,33).
