Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale, which included the work Austrian at The Well by Daniel Israel. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,160.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Daniel Israel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2005 the work Harem Beauties was auctioned for GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,784.76).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.160,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
