The work Harem Beauties by Daniel Israel was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2005. The price achieved of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,784.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Harem Beauties is the most expensive artwork by Daniel Israel that we have observed at auctions so far.
