Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Daniel Israel could be acquired at Sothebys in London in May 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Austrian woman At A Window changed hands for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,307.23) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniel Israel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harem Beauties, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,784.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Israel konnte im Mai 2013 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Austrian woman At A Window für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.307,23) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Daniel Israel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harem Beauties beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.784,76) versteigert wurde.
