Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Summer Silence by Daniel Garber. Here, the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 361,000.00 (€ 245,778.87). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniel Garber - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work November, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 755,000.00 (€ 581,305.82).
