Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Daniel Garber could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art auction, the work Springtime-Lambertville changed hands for USD 149,000.00 (€ 119,794.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Garber have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work November in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 581,305.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Garber konnte im November 2014 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Art wechselte die Arbeit Springtime-Lambertville für USD 149.000,00 (€ 119.794,18) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Garber auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit November im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 581.305,82).
