In June 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Landscape—Sketch by Daniel Garber. The »bidding war« ended at USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,954.68), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Garber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work November in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 581,305.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape—Sketch von Daniel Garber zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.954,68) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Garber erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit November im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 581.305,82).
