Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stockton Church by Daniel Garber was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 302,500.00 (€ 217,328.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniel Garber - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work November, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 755,000.00 (€ 581,305.82).
