Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Peonies by Daniel Garber. The »bidding war« ended at USD 86,500.00 (€ 62,145.27), 24% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Daniel Garber have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work November in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 581,305.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peonies von Daniel Garber zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 62.145,27) und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Garber auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit November im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 581.305,82).
