Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Forest Entrance by Daniel Garber. The price achieved of USD 98,500.00 (€ 69,952.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Garber have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work November in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 581,305.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Forest Entrance von Daniel Garber zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 98.500,00 (€ 69.952,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Garber auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit November im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 581.305,82).
