Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2024 Phillips in London held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Tropical Cave of Zeus by Daniel Arsham. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,556.00 (€ 5,951.53), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Arsham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,312,500.00 (€ 268,207.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2024 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tropical Cave of Zeus von Daniel Arsham zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.556,00 (€ 5.951,53) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Arsham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.312.500,00 (€ 268.207,19).
