Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Choice by Dan Colen was auctioned at Christies in New York in November last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,900.00 (€ 18,308.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dan Colen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boo Fuck'n Hoo in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,255,865.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Choice von Dan Colen kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 18.308,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dan Colen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boo Fuck'n Hoo im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.077.000,00 (€ 2.255.865,10).
