In March 2012 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Beautiful Mild Psychotic Drawing (with small blue interference) by Damien Hirst. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,241.85), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).

Im März 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beautiful Mild Psychotic Drawing (with small blue interference) von Damien Hirst zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.241,85) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Damien Hirst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lullaby Spring im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.652.000,00 (€ 14.323.082,54).
